2-Stroke oil is a type of lubricating oil that is specifically designed for use in 2-Stroke engines, which are commonly found in small power tools such as chainsaws, brushcutters, hedge trimmers, disc cutters, etc.
Unlike 4-stroke engines, which have a separate oil reservoir, 2-stroke engines require oil to be mixed with the fuel in order to lubricate the engine's moving parts. 2-stroke oil is formulated to burn cleanly with the fuel, while also providing the necessary lubrication to prevent wear and tear on the engine's components.
Tip: Not sure which grade/ specification of oil your engine uses? Your machines owners manual will list the correct specification of oil required to suit your engine. Always use the correct specification oil, failure to do so may result in damage to your engine, and may also invalidate warranty.
